Interventionists

A professional interventionist identifies the people in the addict’s life who will be the most influential as part of the team that will enable them to accept treatment.

The interventionist educates and trains the group.

They then facilitate the intervention. This includes keeping the tone of the intervention caring so that it can be productive while diffusing tensions.

Lastly, the interventionist will evaluate the needs of the abuser and their financial situation and make rehab suggestions.
