Facility Description:

John D. Good Recovery Center is a residential substance abuse treatment facility located in Terra Alta, West Virginia, comprised of a Detoxification Unit and a Recovery Community Program. The staff is dedicated to providing quality care to each individual battling with substance abuse and chemical dependency. Each program is designed to tailor to the specific needs of each individual at different stages in their recovery process. The Center is available to male and female West Virginia residents who are 18 years of age or older. This is a locked facility with 24-hour security.

The United Summit Center offers an Adolescent Early Recovery Substance Abuse Program to adolescents under the age of 18 currently experimenting with substances or at-risk of using. The program is designed as an early intervention or prevention plan to deter continued use and addiction. Through an educational and therapeutic philosophy, group sessions will focus on the basics of substance abuse and repercussions of continued usage on education, finances, social life, family life, employment, health, etc.

Outpatient Addiction Services at United Summit Center is staffed with trained and certified substance abuse counselors to assist West Virginia residents in confronting their substance abuse and committing to treatment. At the United Summit Center, we understand that recovering from a substance abuse addiction is a long and strenuous process that requires compassion and support. Here, we will equip each participant with the strength and techniques to begin and end each day drug-free.
